2 Samuel 7:25

7:25 So now, O Lord God, make this promise you have made about your servant and his family a permanent reality. ¹  Do as you promised, ² 

Mazmur 119:38

119:38 Confirm to your servant your promise, ³ 

which you made to the one who honors you. ⁴ 

[7:25]  ¹ tn Heb “and now, O Lord God, the word which you spoke concerning your servant and concerning his house, establish permanently.”

[119:38]  ³ tn Heb “word.”

[119:38]  ⁴ tn Heb “which [is] for your fear,” that is, the promise made to those who exhibit fear of God.
