“If you repented and patiently waited for me, you would be delivered; 3
if you calmly trusted in me you would find strength, 4
but you are unwilling.
[25:15] 1 tn Heb “my eyes continually [are] toward the
[25:15] 2 tn Heb “for he will bring out from a net my feet.” The hostility of the psalmist’s enemies is probably in view (see v. 19).
[30:15] 3 tn Heb “in returning and in quietness you will be delivered.” Many English versions render the last phrase “shall be saved” or something similar (e.g., NAB, NASB, NRSV).
