Bagian ini memuat beberapa tjeritera mengenai nabi Elisja', jang berasal dari kalangan tjanterik² nabi², dan semula bersendiri, kemudian dihimpun dan dimasukkan kedalam kitab Radja² oleh si Pengarang.

Tjorak tjeritera² ini populer. Meskipun kisah Elisja' agak serupa dengan kisah Elija, malah peristiwa² seringkali sedjadjar, namun tokoh ini sangat berbeda dengan Elija. Ia lebih adjaib dan sangat tjampur tangan dalam urusan negara dan ia sangat "patriotik". Tetapi Elisja'djauh dibelakang Elija sebagai tokoh agama. Elisja' mengepalai sematjam tarekat "nabi" atau "tjanterik nabi". Nabi² itu ialah orang jang membaktikan dirinja sama sekali kepada agamanja, ibadat dan kebaktian Jahwe, hidup ber-kelompok² dan rupa²nja menjendiri. Sebenarnja mereka kadang² bertindak sebagai pesuruh Allah, tetapi bukanlah oleh sebab mereka "tjanterik² nabi". Anugerah itu selalu suatu pilihan pribadi, jang tak dapat disampaikan kepada seorang selain oleh Jahwe sendiri.
