Sebuah nama tempat antara Mikhmas dan Yerusalem (Yes 10:29-32). Tempat tinggal keluarga Imam Abyatar (1Raj 2:26 dan lain-lain) dan tempat tinggal nabi Yeremia (Yer 1:1; 32:7-9). Dewasa ini kota Anata. di timur-laut Yerusalem. Peta PB A1.

Satu kota dalam wilayah suku Benyamin yg diperuntukkan bagi orang Lewi (Yos 21:18). Tempat kediaman Abyatar (1 Raj 2:26) dan Yeremia (Yer 1:1; 11:21), Abiezer (2 Sam 23:27 dab), dan Yehu (1 Taw 12:3). Didiami kembali setelah pulang dari Pembuangan (Neh 11:32).
