ZOBA [ensiklopedia]
Kerajaan Aram yg berkembang pada masa Kerajaan Ibrani Awal. Berperang melawan Saul dan Daud. Salah satu rajanya ialah Hadadezer (2 Sam 8:3). Zoba berada antara Hamat, di sebelah utaranya, dan Damsyik, di sebelah selatannya. Pada puncak kejayaan Zoba pengaruhnya mencapai kota-kota tadi. Tidak perlu menerima dalil adanya dua Zoba, yg salah satu disebut di sebelah selatan Damsyik, hanya karena Zoba didaftar bersama Rehob dan Maakha dalam 2 Sam 10:6 (kedua kota itu ada di sebelah selatan Damsyik).
