Poetic Refrain: Mutual Possession

The Beloved about Her Lover:

7:10 I am my beloved’s,

and he desires me! ¹ 

Yehezkiel 24:16

24:16 “Son of man, realize that I am about to take the delight of your eyes away from you with a jolt, ²  but you must not mourn or weep or shed tears.

Yehezkiel 26:12

26:12 They will steal your wealth and loot your merchandise. They will tear down your walls and destroy your luxurious ³  homes. Your stones, your trees, and your soil he will throw ⁴  into the water. ⁵
