Ulangan 32:30

32:30 How can one man chase a thousand of them, ¹ 

and two pursue ten thousand;

unless their Rock had delivered them up, ² 

and the Lord had handed them over?

3:8 The Lord was furious with Israel ³  and turned them over to ⁴  King Cushan-Rishathaim ⁵  of Aram-Naharaim. They were Cushan-Rishathaim’s subjects ⁶  for eight years.
