1 Tawarikh 5:25-26

5:25 But they were unfaithful to the God of their ancestors ¹  and worshiped instead ²  the gods of the native peoples ³  whom God had destroyed before them. 5:26 So the God of Israel stirred up ⁴  King Pul of Assyria (that is, King Tiglath-pileser of Assyria), ⁵  and he carried away the Reubenites, Gadites, and half-tribe of Manasseh and took them to Halah, Habor, Hara, and the river of Gozan, where they remain to this very day.

Yesaya 9:1

9:1 (8:23) ⁶  The gloom will be dispelled for those who were anxious. ⁷ 

In earlier times he ⁸  humiliated

the land of Zebulun,

and the land of Naphtali; ⁹ 

but now he brings honor ¹⁰ 

to the way of the sea,

the region beyond the Jordan,

and Galilee of the nations. ¹¹
