1 Raja-raja 6:16-20
6:16 He built a wall 30 feet in from the rear of the temple as a partition for an inner sanctuary that would be the most holy place.
1 He paneled the wall with cedar planks from the floor to the rafters.
2
6:17 The main hall in front of the inner sanctuary was 60 feet long.
3
6:18 The inside of the temple was all cedar and was adorned with carvings of round ornaments and of flowers in bloom. Everything was cedar; no stones were visible.
4
6:19 He prepared the inner sanctuary inside the temple so that the ark of the covenant of the Lord could be placed there.
6:20 The inner sanctuary was 30 feet 5 long, 30 feet wide, and 30 feet high. He plated it with gold, 6 as well as the cedar altar. 7
1 Raja-raja 6:2
6:2 The temple King Solomon built for the
Lord was 90 feet
8 long, 30 feet
9 wide, and 45 feet
10 high.
1 Raja-raja 3:5-10
3:5 One night in Gibeon the
Lord appeared
11 to Solomon in a dream. God said, “Tell
12 me what I should give you.”
3:6 Solomon replied, “You demonstrated
13 great loyalty to your servant, my father David, as he served
14 you faithfully, properly, and sincerely.
15 You have maintained this great loyalty to this day by allowing his son to sit on his throne.
16
3:7 Now, O
Lord my God, you have made your servant king in my father David’s place, even though I am only a young man and am inexperienced.
17
3:8 Your servant stands
18 among your chosen people;
19 they are a great nation that is too numerous to count or number.
3:9 So give your servant a discerning mind
20 so he can make judicial decisions for
21 your people and distinguish right from wrong.
22 Otherwise
23 no one is able
24 to make judicial decisions for
25 this great nation of yours.”
26
3:10 The Lord
27 was pleased that Solomon made this request.
28
Yehezkiel 41:13-17
41:13 Then he measured the temple as 175 feet 29 long, the courtyard of the temple and the building and its walls as 175 feet 30 long,
41:14 and also the width of the front of the temple and the courtyard on the east as 175 feet. 31
41:15 Then he measured the length of the building facing the courtyard at the rear of the temple, with its galleries on either side as 175 feet. 32
The interior of the outer sanctuary and the porch of the court, 33
41:16 as well as the thresholds, narrow windows and galleries all around on three sides facing the threshold were paneled with wood all around, from the ground up to the windows (now the windows were covered),
41:17 to the space above the entrance, to the inner room, and on the outside, and on all the walls in the inner room and outside, by measurement. 34
Ibrani 9:2-8
9:2 For a tent was prepared, the outer one,
35 which contained
36 the lampstand, the table, and the presentation of the loaves; this
37 is called the holy place.
9:3 And after the second curtain there was a tent called the holy of holies.
9:4 It contained the golden altar of incense and the ark of the covenant covered entirely with gold. In this ark
38 were the golden urn containing the manna, Aaron’s rod that budded, and the stone tablets of the covenant.
9:5 And above the ark
39 were the cherubim
40 of glory overshadowing the mercy seat. Now is not the time to speak of these things in detail.
9:6 So with these things prepared like this, the priests enter continually into the outer tent
41 as they perform their duties.
9:7 But only the high priest enters once a year into the inner tent,
42 and not without blood that he offers for himself and for the sins of the people committed in ignorance.
43
9:8 The Holy Spirit is making clear that the way into the holy place had not yet appeared as long as the old tabernacle
44 was standing.
