7:10 As Samuel was offering burnt offerings, the Philistines approached to do battle with Israel. 1 But on that day the Lord thundered loudly against the Philistines. He caused them to panic, and they were defeated by 2 Israel.
7:14 The cities that the Philistines had captured from Israel were returned to Israel, from Ekron to Gath. Israel also delivered their territory from the control 3 of the Philistines. There was also peace between Israel and the Amorites.
11:11 The next day Saul placed the people in three groups. They went to the Ammonite camp during the morning watch and struck them 4 down until the hottest part of the day. The survivors scattered; no two of them remained together.
17:26 David asked the men who were standing near him, “What will be done for the man who strikes down this Philistine and frees Israel from this humiliation? 5 For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he defies the armies of the living God?”
30:16 So he took David 9 down, and they found them spread out over the land. They were eating and drinking and enjoying themselves because of all the loot 10 they had taken from the land of the Philistines and from the land of Judah.
