2 Tawarikh 26:10

26:10 He built towers in the desert and dug many cisterns, for he owned many herds in the lowlands ¹  and on the plain. He had workers in the fields and vineyards in the hills and in Carmel, ²  for he loved agriculture. ³ 

2 Tawarikh 27:4

27:4 He built cities in the hill country of Judah and fortresses and towers in the forests.

Yesaya 22:8-11

22:8 They ⁴  removed the defenses ⁵  of Judah.

At that time ⁶  you looked

for the weapons in the House of the Forest. ⁷ 

22:9 You saw the many breaks

in the walls of the city of David; ⁸ 

you stored up water in the lower pool.

22:10 You counted the houses in Jerusalem, ⁹ 

and demolished houses so you could have material to reinforce the wall. ¹⁰ 

22:11 You made a reservoir between the two walls

for the water of the old pool –

but you did not trust in ¹¹  the one who made it; ¹² 

you did not depend on ¹³  the one who formed it long ago!
