6:37 When your people come to their senses in the land where they are held prisoner, they will repent and beg for your mercy in the land of their imprisonment, admitting, ‘We have sinned and gone astray, we have done evil!’

Ahaz’s Reign

28:1 Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned for sixteen years in Jerusalem. 10  He did not do what pleased the Lord, in contrast to his ancestor David. 11

30:17 Because many in the assembly had not consecrated themselves, the Levites slaughtered 12  the Passover lambs of all who were ceremonially unclean and could not consecrate their sacrifice to the Lord. 13

34:3 In the eighth year of his reign, while he was still young, he began to seek the God of his ancestor 14  David. In his twelfth year he began ridding 15  Judah and Jerusalem of the high places, Asherah poles, idols, and images.

35:12 They reserved the burnt offerings and the cattle for the family divisions of the people to present to the Lord, as prescribed in the scroll of Moses. 16
