Daniel 1:11-12

1:11 Daniel then spoke to the warden¹ whom the overseer of the court officials had appointed over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: 1:12 “Please test your servants for ten days by providing us with some vegetables to eat and water to drink.

Daniel 1:16

1:16 So the warden removed the delicacies and the wine² from their diet³ and gave them a diet of vegetables instead.

11:23 After¹⁰ entering into an alliance with him, he will behave treacherously; he will ascend to power with only a small force.¹¹

Daniel 11:26

11:26 Those who share the king’s fine food will attempt to destroy him, and his army will be swept away;¹² many will be killed in battle.

12:8 I heard, but I did not understand. So I said, “Sir,¹³ what will happen after these things?”
