32:30 How can one man chase a thousand of them, 1
and two pursue ten thousand;
unless their Rock had delivered them up, 2
and the Lord had handed them over?
1:5 Now I desire to remind you (even though you have been fully informed of these facts 11 once for all 12 ) that Jesus, 13 having saved the 14 people out of the land of Egypt, later 15 destroyed those who did not believe. 1:6 You also know that 16 the angels who did not keep within their proper domain 17 but abandoned their own place of residence, he has kept 18 in eternal chains 19 in utter 20 darkness, locked up 21 for the judgment of the great Day. 1:7 So also 22 Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighboring towns, 23 since they indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire 24 in a way similar to 25 these angels, 26 are now displayed as an example by suffering the punishment of eternal fire.
115:1 Not to us, O Lord, not to us!
But to your name bring honor, 35
for the sake of your loyal love and faithfulness. 36
115:2 Why should the nations say,
“Where is their God?”
115:3 Our God is in heaven!
He does whatever he pleases! 37
8:31 What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
