6:20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may be able to speak boldly as I ought to speak.

Efesus 6:1

6:1 Children,¹ obey your parents in the Lord² for this is right.

Wisdom is Better than Folly

2:12 Next, I decided to consider³ wisdom, as well as foolish behavior and ideas.⁴

For what more can the king’s successor do than what the king⁵ has already done?

2:14 The wise man can see where he is going,⁶ but the fool walks in darkness.

Yet I also realized that the same fate⁷ happens to them both.⁸

The Problem of Injustice and Oppression

3:16 I saw something else on earth:⁹

In the place of justice, there was wickedness,

and in the place of fairness,¹⁰ there was wickedness.
