15:11 Who is like you, 1 O Lord, among the gods? 2
Who is like you? – majestic in holiness, fearful in praises, 3 working wonders?
66:3 Say to God:
“How awesome are your deeds!
Because of your great power your enemies cower in fear 4 before you.
66:4 All the earth worships 5 you
and sings praises to you!
They sing praises to your name!” (Selah)
66:5 Come and witness 6 God’s exploits! 7
His acts on behalf of people are awesome! 8
76:7 You are awesome! Yes, you!
Who can withstand your intense anger? 9
5:22 “You should fear me!” says the Lord.
“You should tremble in awe before me! 10
I made the sand to be a boundary for the sea,
a permanent barrier that it can never cross.
Its waves may roll, but they can never prevail.
They may roar, but they can never cross beyond that boundary.” 11
10:6 I said, 12
“There is no one like you, Lord. 13
You are great.
And you are renowned for your power. 14
10:7 Everyone should revere you, O King of all nations, 15
because you deserve to be revered. 16
For there is no one like you
among any of the wise people of the nations nor among any of their kings. 17
10:8 The people of those nations 18 are both stupid and foolish.
Instruction from a wooden idol is worthless! 19
10:9 Hammered-out silver is brought from Tarshish 20
and gold is brought from Uphaz 21 to cover those idols. 22
They are the handiwork of carpenters and goldsmiths. 23
They are clothed in blue and purple clothes. 24
They are all made by skillful workers. 25
10:10 The Lord is the only true God.
He is the living God and the everlasting King.
When he shows his anger the earth shakes.
None of the nations can stand up to his fury.
15:4 Who will not fear you, O Lord,
and glorify 26 your name, because you alone are holy? 27
All nations 28 will come and worship before you
for your righteous acts 29 have been revealed.”
