Yesaya 2:5

2:5 O descendants¹ of Jacob,

come, let us walk in the Lord’s guiding light.²

Yesaya 49:10

49:10 They will not be hungry or thirsty;

the sun’s oppressive heat will not beat down on them,³

for one who has compassion on them will guide them;

he will lead them to springs of water.

Yeremia 2:2

7:9 You steal.¹¹ You murder. You commit adultery. You lie when you swear on oath. You sacrifice to the god Baal. You pay allegiance to¹² other gods whom you have not previously known.

Yeremia 31:9

31:9 They will come back shedding tears of contrition.

I will bring them back praying prayers of repentance.¹³

I will lead them besides streams of water,

along smooth paths where they will never stumble.¹⁴

I will do this because I am Israel’s father;

Ephraim¹⁵ is my firstborn son.’”
