Yudas 1:1

Salutation

1:1 From Jude,¹ a slave² of Jesus Christ and brother of James,³ to those who are called, wrapped in the love of⁴ God the Father and kept for⁵ Jesus Christ.

Mazmur 37:14-15

37:14 Evil men draw their swords

and prepare their bows,

to bring down⁶ the oppressed and needy,

and to slaughter those who are godly.⁷

37:15 Their swords will pierce⁸ their own hearts,

and their bows will be broken.

Mazmur 68:23

68:23 so that your feet may stomp⁹ in their blood,

and your dogs may eat their portion of the enemies’ corpses.”¹⁰

Mazmur 92:10-11

92:10 You exalt my horn like that of a wild ox.¹¹

I am covered¹² with fresh oil.

92:11 I gloat in triumph over those who tried to ambush me;¹³

I hear the defeated cries of the evil foes who attacked me.¹⁴

Mazmur 149:6-9

149:6 May they praise God

while they hold a two-edged sword in their hand,¹⁵

149:7 in order to take¹⁶ revenge on the nations,

and punish foreigners.

149:8 They bind¹⁷ their kings in chains,

and their nobles in iron shackles,

149:9 and execute the judgment to which their enemies¹⁸ have been sentenced.¹⁹

All his loyal followers will be vindicated.²⁰

18:7 Won’t²¹ God give justice to his chosen ones, who cry out²² to him day and night?²³ Will he delay²⁴ long to help them?

Wahyu 6:10

6:10 They²⁵ cried out with a loud voice,²⁶ “How long,²⁷ Sovereign Master,²⁸ holy and true, before you judge those who live on the earth and avenge our blood?”
