12:3 He
1 said to them, “Haven’t you read what David did when he and his companions were hungry –
12:4 how he entered the house of God and they ate
2 the sacred bread,
3 which was against the law
4 for him or his companions to eat, but only for the priests?

2:25 He said to them, “Have you never read what David did when he was in need and he and his companions were hungry –
2:26 how he entered the house of God when Abiathar was high priest
6 and ate the sacred bread,
7 which is against the law
8 for any but the priests to eat, and also gave it to his companions?”

10 he said to them, “The Sabbath was made for people,
11 not people for the Sabbath.
