Bilangan 25:4

God’s Punishment

25:4 The Lord said to Moses, “Arrest all the leaders of the people, and hang them up before the Lord in broad daylight, so that the fierce anger of the Lord may be turned away from Israel.”

Bilangan 25:11

25:11 “Phinehas son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, has turned my anger away from the Israelites, when he manifested such zeal for my sake among them, so that I did not consume the Israelites in my zeal.

Mazmur 78:38

78:38 Yet he is compassionate.

He forgives sin and does not destroy.

He often holds back his anger,

and does not stir up his fury.

Yesaya 12:1-2

12:1 At that time you will say:

“I praise you, O Lord,

for even though you were angry with me,

your anger subsided, and you consoled me.

12:2 Look, God is my deliverer!

I will trust in him and not fear.

For the Lord gives me strength and protects me; 10 

he has become my deliverer.” 11 

Kolose 1:19-21

1:19 For God 12  was pleased to have all his 13  fullness dwell 14  in the Son 15 

1:20 and through him to reconcile all things to himself by making peace through the blood of his cross – through him, 16  whether things on earth or things in heaven.
