10:7 But when you assemble the community,¹ you must blow, but you must not sound an alarm.²

Mazmur 81:3

81:3 Sound the ram’s horn on the day of the new moon,³

and on the day of the full moon when our festival begins.⁴

89:15 How blessed are the people who worship you!⁵

O Lord, they experience your favor.⁶

1:13 Do not bring any more meaningless⁷ offerings;

I consider your incense detestable!⁸

You observe new moon festivals, Sabbaths, and convocations,

but I cannot tolerate sin-stained celebrations!⁹

8:1 Sound the alarm!¹⁰

An eagle¹¹ looms over the temple of the Lord!

For they have broken their covenant with me,¹²

and have rebelled against my law.

1:14 Announce a holy fast;¹³

proclaim a sacred assembly.

Gather the elders and¹⁴ all the inhabitants of the land

to the temple of the Lord your God,

and cry out to the Lord.
