Versi:

Amsal 11:13

11:13 The one who goes about slandering others reveals secrets,

but the one who is trustworthy conceals a matter.

Amsal 18:8

18:8 The words of a gossip are like choice morsels;

they go down into the person’s innermost being.

Amsal 26:20-22

26:20 Where there is no wood, a fire goes out,

and where there is no gossip, contention ceases.

26:21 Like charcoal is to burning coals, and wood to fire,

so is a contentious person to kindle strife. 10

26:22 The words of a gossip are like delicious morsels;

they go down into a person’s innermost being. 11

Imamat 19:16

19:16 You must not go about as a slanderer among your people. 12  You must not stand idly by when your neighbor’s life is at stake. 13  I am the Lord.
