Psalm 14 1

14:1 Fools say to themselves, 2 “There is no God.” 3
They sin and commit evil deeds; 4
none of them does what is right. 5

2:6 Now some of the experts in the law
6 were sitting there, turning these things over in their minds:

2:7 “Why does this man speak this way? He is blaspheming!
8 Who can forgive sins but God alone?”
2:8 Now
9 immediately, when Jesus realized in his spirit that they were contemplating such thoughts,
10 he said to them, “Why are you thinking such things in your hearts?

7:39 Now when the Pharisee who had invited him saw this,

13 he would know who and what kind of woman
14 this is who is touching him, that she is a sinner.”
