135:1 Praise the Lord!
Praise the name of the Lord!
Offer praise, you servants of the Lord,
9:1 Then God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth.
18:1 After this 3 Paul 4 departed from 5 Athens 6 and went to Corinth. 7
18:1 After this 8 Paul 9 departed from 10 Athens 11 and went to Corinth. 12
26:8 He locks the waters in his clouds,
and the clouds do not burst with the weight of them.
26:9 He conceals 13 the face of the full moon, 14
shrouding it with his clouds.
36:27 He draws up drops of water;
they distill 15 the rain into its mist, 16
36:28 which the clouds pour down
and shower on humankind abundantly.
36:29 Who can understand the spreading of the clouds,
the thunderings of his pavilion? 17
36:30 See how he scattered 18 his lightning 19 about him;
he has covered the depths 20 of the sea.
36:31 It is by these that he judges 21 the nations
and supplies food in abundance.
36:32 With his hands 22 he covers 23 the lightning,
and directs it against its target.
36:33 24 His thunder announces the coming storm,
the cattle also, concerning the storm’s approach.
38:24 In what direction is lightning 25 dispersed,
or the east winds scattered over the earth?
38:25 Who carves out a channel for the heavy rains,
and a path for the rumble of thunder,
38:26 to cause it to rain on an uninhabited land, 26
a desert where there are no human beings, 27
38:27 to satisfy a devastated and desolate land,
and to cause it to sprout with vegetation? 28
5:6 I will make it a wasteland;
no one will prune its vines or hoe its ground, 29
and thorns and briers will grow there.
I will order the clouds
not to drop any rain on it.
