Versi:

Kidung Agung 2:3

The Beloved about Her Lover:

2:3 Like an apple tree among the trees of the forest,

so is my beloved among the young men.

I delight to sit in his shade,

and his fruit is sweet to my taste.

Kidung Agung 5:10-16

The Beloved to the Maidens:

5:10 My beloved is dazzling 10  and ruddy; 11

he stands out 12  in comparison to 13  all other men. 14

5:11 His head is like the most pure gold. 15

His hair is curly 16  – black like a raven.

5:12 His eyes are like doves by streams of water,

washed in milk, mounted like jewels.

5:13 His cheeks are like garden beds full of balsam trees 17  yielding 18  perfume.

His lips are like lilies dripping with drops of myrrh.

5:14 His arms are like rods of gold set with chrysolite.

His abdomen 19  is like polished ivory inlaid with sapphires.

5:15 His legs are like pillars of marble set on bases of pure gold.

His appearance is like Lebanon, choice as its cedars.

5:16 His mouth is very sweet; 20

he is totally desirable. 21

This is my beloved!

This is my companion, O maidens of Jerusalem!

Mazmur 45:2

45:2 You are the most handsome of all men! 22

You speak in an impressive and fitting manner! 23

For this reason 24  God grants you continual blessings. 25

Zakharia 9:17

9:17 How precious and fair! 26  Grain will make the young men flourish and new wine the young women.

Filipi 3:8-9

3:8 More than that, I now regard all things as liabilities compared to the far greater value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things – indeed, I regard them as dung! 27  – that I may gain Christ, 3:9 and be found in him, not because I have my own righteousness derived from the law, but because I have the righteousness that comes by way of Christ’s faithfulness 28  – a righteousness from God that is in fact 29  based on Christ’s 30  faithfulness. 31

Wahyu 5:11-13

5:11 Then 32  I looked and heard the voice of many angels in a circle around the throne, as well as the living creatures and the elders. Their 33  number was ten thousand times ten thousand 34  – thousands times thousands – 5:12 all of whom 35  were singing 36  in a loud voice:

“Worthy is the lamb who was killed 37

to receive power and wealth

and wisdom and might

and honor and glory and praise!”

5:13 Then 38  I heard every creature – in heaven, on earth, under the earth, in the sea, and all that is in them – singing: 39

“To the one seated on the throne and to the Lamb

be praise, honor, glory, and ruling power 40  forever and ever!”
