28:58 “If you refuse to obey ¹  all the words of this law, the things written in this scroll, and refuse to fear this glorious and awesome name, the Lord your God,

28:1 “If you indeed ²  obey the Lord your God and are careful to observe all his commandments I am giving ³  you today, the Lord your God will elevate you above all the nations of the earth.

1 Samuel 12:22

12:22 The Lord will not abandon his people because he wants to uphold his great reputation. ⁴  The Lord was pleased to make you his own people.

Mazmur 48:11

48:11 Mount Zion rejoices;

the towns ⁵  of Judah are happy, ⁶ 

because of your acts of judgment. ⁷
