18:11 So now, tell the people of Judah and the citizens of Jerusalem
1 this: The
Lord says, ‘I am preparing to bring disaster on you! I am making plans to punish you.
2 So, every one of you, stop the evil things you have been doing.
3 Correct the way you have been living and do what is right.’

Every Effect has its Cause
3:1 Listen, you Israelites, to this message which the Lord is proclaiming against 5 you! This message is for the entire clan I brought up 6 from the land of Egypt:
3:2 “I have chosen 7 you alone from all the clans of the earth. Therefore I will punish you for all your sins.”
