Yeremia 6:6
6:6 All of this is because 1 the Lord who rules over all 2 has said:
‘Cut down the trees around Jerusalem
and build up a siege ramp against its walls. 3
This is the city which is to be punished. 4
Nothing but oppression happens in it. 5
Yehezkiel 17:17
17:17 Pharaoh with his great army and mighty horde will not help
6 him in battle, when siege ramps are erected and siege-walls are built to kill many people.
Daniel 11:15
11:15 Then the king of the north will advance and will build siege mounds and capture a well-fortified city.
7 The forces of the south will not prevail, not even his finest contingents.
8 They will have no strength to prevail.
