7:45 and the pots, shovels, and bowls. All these items King Solomon assigned Hiram to make for the Lord’s temple ¹  were made from polished bronze.

7:2 He named ²  it “The Palace of the Lebanon Forest”; ³  it was 150 feet ⁴  long, 75 feet ⁵  wide, and 45 feet ⁶  high. It had four rows of cedar pillars and cedar beams above the pillars.

25:15 When I was in Jerusalem, ⁷  the chief priests and the elders of the Jews informed ⁸  me about him, ⁹  asking for a sentence of condemnation ¹⁰  against him.

Yeremia 52:19-20

52:19 The captain of the royal guard took the gold and silver bowls, censers, ¹¹  basins, pots, lampstands, pans, and vessels. ¹²  52:20 The bronze of the items that King Solomon made for the Lord’s temple (including the two pillars, the large bronze basin called “The Sea,” the twelve bronze bulls under “The Sea,” and the movable stands ¹³ ) was too heavy to be weighed.

[7:2]  ³ sn The Palace of the Lebanon Forest. This name was appropriate because of the large amount of cedar, undoubtedly brought from Lebanon, used in its construction. The cedar pillars in the palace must have given it the appearance of a forest.

[25:15]  ⁹ tn Grk “about whom.” Because of the length and complexity of the Greek sentence, the relative pronoun (“whom”) has been replaced with a personal pronoun (“him”) and a new sentence started in the translation at the beginning of v. 15 (where the phrase περὶ οὗ [peri Jou] occurs in the Greek text).

[25:15]  ¹⁰ tn BDAG 516 s.v. καταδίκη states, “condemnation, sentence of condemnation, conviction, guilty verdict…αἰτεῖσθαι κατά τινος κ. ask for a conviction of someone Ac 25:15.”

[52:19]  ¹¹ sn The censers held the embers used for the incense offerings.

[52:19]  ¹² sn These vessels were used for drink offerings.

[52:20]  ¹³ tc The translation follows the LXX (Greek version), which reflects the description in 1 Kgs 7:25-26. The Hebrew text reads, “the twelve bronze bulls under the movable stands.” הַיָּם (hayyam, “The Sea”) has been accidentally omitted by homoioarcton; note that the following form, הַמְּכֹנוֹת (hammÿkhonot, “the movable stands”), also begins with the article.
