9:22 Solomon did not assign Israelites to these work crews; ¹  the Israelites served as his soldiers, attendants, officers, charioteers, and commanders of his chariot forces. ²

9:2 the Lord appeared to Solomon a second time, in the same way he had appeared to him at Gibeon. ³

13:6 The king pled with ⁴  the prophet, ⁵  “Seek the favor of ⁶  the Lord your God and pray for me, so that my hand may be restored.” So the prophet sought the Lord’s favor ⁷  and the king’s hand was restored to its former condition. ⁸ 

[9:22]  ¹ sn These work crews. The work crews referred to here must be different than the temporary crews described in 5:13-16.
