2:5 you yourselves, as living stones, are built up as a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood and to offer ¹  spiritual sacrifices that are acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

1 Petrus 5:10

5:10 And, after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace who called you to his eternal glory in Christ ²  will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. ³

However, the inclusion is a natural and predictable expansion on the text. NA²⁷ includes ᾿Ιησοῦ (Ihsou, “Jesus”) in brackets, indicating doubts as to its authenticity. .
