1 Petrus 2:20-21

2:20 For what credit is it if you sin and are mistreated and endure it? But if you do good and suffer and so endure, this finds favor with God. ¹  2:21 For to this you were called, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving an example for you to follow in his steps.

[3:4]  ² tn Grk “the hidden man.” KJV’s “the hidden man of the heart,” referring to a wife, could be seriously misunderstood by the modern English reader.

[4:17]  ³ tn Grk “to begin from the house.”

[4:17]  ⁴ tn Or “the end.”
