1:29 The king swore an oath: “As certainly as the Lord lives (he who has rescued me ¹  from every danger), 1:30 I will keep ²  today the oath I swore to you by the Lord God of Israel: ‘Surely Solomon your son will be king after me; he will sit in my place on my throne.’”

2:24 Now, as certainly as the Lord lives (he who made me secure, allowed me to sit on my father David’s throne, and established a dynasty ³  for me as he promised), Adonijah will be executed today!”

5:8 Hiram then sent this message to Solomon: “I received ⁴  the message you sent to me. I will give you all the cedars and evergreens you need. ⁵

11:27 This is what prompted him to rebel against the king: ⁸  Solomon built a terrace and he closed up a gap in the wall of the city of his father David. ⁹  11:28 Jeroboam was a talented man; ¹⁰  when Solomon saw that the young man was an accomplished worker, he made him the leader of the work crew from the tribe ¹¹  of Joseph.

12:4 “Your father made us work too hard. ¹²  Now if you lighten the demands he made and don’t make us work as hard, we will serve you.” ¹³

The conditional sentence used in the translation above is an attempt to bring out the logical relationship between these forms.
