1:51 Solomon was told, “Look, Adonijah fears you; ¹  see, he has taken hold of the horns of the altar, saying, ‘May King Solomon solemnly promise ²  me today that he will not kill his servant with the sword.’”

1 Raja-raja 2:15

2:15 He said, “You know that the kingdom ³  was mine and all Israel considered me king. ⁴  But then the kingdom was given to my brother, for the Lord decided it should be his. ⁵ 

1 Raja-raja 8:66

8:66 On the fifteenth day after the festival started, ⁶  he dismissed the people. They asked God to empower the king ⁷  and then went to their homes, happy and content ⁸  because of all the good the Lord had done for his servant David and his people Israel.
