Rehoboam Loses His Kingdom

12:1 Rehoboam traveled to Shechem, for all Israel had gathered in ³  Shechem to make Rehoboam ⁴  king.

15:26 He did evil in the sight of ⁵  the Lord. He followed in his father’s footsteps and encouraged Israel to sin. ⁶
