2:23 King Solomon then swore an oath by the Lord, “May God judge me severely, ¹  if Adonijah does not pay for this request with his life! ²

12:7 They said to him, “Today if you show a willingness to help these people and grant their request, they will be your servants from this time forward.” ³

22:10 Now the king of Israel and King Jehoshaphat of Judah were sitting on their respective thrones, ⁴  dressed in their robes, at the threshing floor at the entrance of the gate of Samaria. ⁵  All the prophets were prophesying before them.
