2:26 The king then told Abiathar the priest, “Go back to your property ¹  in Anathoth. You deserve to die, ²  but today I will not kill you because you did carry the ark of the sovereign Lord before my father David and you suffered with my father through all his difficult times.” ³

3:26 The real mother ⁴  spoke up to the king, for her motherly instincts were aroused. ⁵  She said, “My master, give her the living child! Whatever you do, don’t kill him!” ⁶  But the other woman said, “Neither one of us will have him! Let them cut him in two!”

8:64 That day the king consecrated the middle of the courtyard that is in front of the Lord’s temple. He offered there burnt sacrifices, grain offerings, and the fat from the peace offerings, because the bronze altar that stood before the Lord was too small to hold all these offerings. ⁷

15:20 Ben Hadad accepted King Asa’s offer and ordered his army commanders to attack the cities of Israel. ⁸  They conquered ⁹  Ijon, Dan, Abel Beth Maacah, and all the territory of Naphtali, including the region of Kinnereth. ¹⁰

20:28 The prophet ¹¹  visited the king of Israel and said, “This is what the Lord says: ‘Because the Syrians said, “The Lord is a god of the mountains and not a god of the valleys,” I will hand over to you this entire huge army. ¹²  Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”
