2:44 Then the king said to Shimei, “You are well aware of the way you mistreated my father David. ¹  The Lord will punish you for what you did. ²

9:22 Solomon did not assign Israelites to these work crews; ³  the Israelites served as his soldiers, attendants, officers, charioteers, and commanders of his chariot forces. ⁴

11:28 Jeroboam was a talented man; ⁵  when Solomon saw that the young man was an accomplished worker, he made him the leader of the work crew from the tribe ⁶  of Joseph.
