3:14 If you follow my instructions ¹  by obeying ²  my rules and regulations, just as your father David did, ³  then I will grant you long life.” ⁴

9:6 “But if you or your sons ever turn away from me, fail to obey the regulations and rules I instructed you to keep, ⁵  and decide to serve and worship other gods, ⁶

[3:14]  ⁴ tn Heb “I will lengthen your days.”

[9:6]  ⁵ tn Heb “which I placed before you.”

[9:6]  ⁶ tn Heb “and walk and serve other gods and bow down to them.”
