1:19 Two sons were born to Eber: the first was named Peleg, for during his lifetime the earth was divided; ¹  his brother’s name was Joktan.

1 Tawarikh 17:8

17:8 I was with you wherever you went and I defeated ²  all your enemies before you. Now I will make you as famous as the great men of the earth. ³ 

1 Tawarikh 17:11

17:11 When the time comes for you to die, ⁴  I will raise up your descendant, ⁵  one of your own sons, to succeed you, and I will establish his kingdom.

[1:19]  ¹ sn Perhaps this refers to the scattering of the people at Babel (Gen 11:1-9).

[17:8]  ³ tn Heb “and I will make for you a name like the name of the great men who are in the earth.”
