2:11 As they were walking along and talking, suddenly a fiery chariot ¹  pulled by fiery horses appeared. ²  They went between Elijah and Elisha, ³  and Elijah went up to heaven in a windstorm.

2:1 Just before ⁴  the Lord took Elijah up to heaven in a windstorm, Elijah and Elisha were traveling from Gilgal.

19:11 The Lord ⁵  said, “Go out and stand on the mountain before the Lord. Look, the Lord is ready to pass by.”

A very powerful wind went before the Lord, digging into the mountain and causing landslides, ⁶  but the Lord was not in the wind. After the windstorm there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake.

Yesaya 5:28

5:28 Their arrows are sharpened,

and all their bows are prepared. ⁷ 

The hooves of their horses are hard as flint, ⁸ 

and their chariot wheels are like a windstorm. ⁹
