2 Samuel 6:22

6:22 I am willing to shame and humiliate myself even more than this! ²  But with the slave girls whom you mentioned let me be distinguished!”

[3:13]  ¹ tn The words “when you come to see my face,” though found in the Hebrew text, are somewhat redundant given the similar expression in the earlier part of the verse. The words are absent from the Syriac Peshitta.
