The Lord Gives Solomon Wisdom

1:1 Solomon son of David solidified his royal authority, ¹  for ²  the Lord his God was with him and magnified him greatly.

2 Tawarikh 9:23

9:23 All the kings of the earth wanted to visit Solomon to see him display his God-given wisdom. ³ 

2 Tawarikh 15:3

15:3 For a long time ⁴  Israel had no true God, or priest to instruct them, or law.

17:4 but instead sought the God of his ancestors ⁵  and obeyed ⁶  his commands, unlike the Israelites. ⁷
