20:31 Jehoshaphat reigned over Judah. He was thirty-five years old when he became king and he reigned for twenty-five years in Jerusalem. ¹⁹  His mother was Azubah, the daughter of Shilhi.

22:2 Ahaziah was twenty-two ²⁰  years old when he became king and he reigned for one year in Jerusalem. His mother was Athaliah, the granddaughter ²¹  of Omri.

Jotham’s Reign

27:1 Jotham was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned for sixteen years in Jerusalem. ²⁶  His mother was Jerusha the daughter of Zadok.

2 Tawarikh 28:10

28:10 And now you are planning ²⁷  to enslave ²⁸  the people ²⁹  of Judah and Jerusalem. Yet are you not also guilty before the Lord your God?

2 Tawarikh 28:24

28:24 Ahaz gathered the items in God’s temple and removed them. He shut the doors of the Lord’s temple and erected altars on every street corner in Jerusalem.

2 Tawarikh 28:27--29:1

28:27 Ahaz passed away ³⁰  and was buried in the City of David; ³¹  they did not bring him to the tombs of the kings of Israel. His son Hezekiah replaced him as king.

Hezekiah Consecrates the Temple

29:1 Hezekiah was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. ³²  His mother was Abijah, ³³  the daughter of Zechariah.

29:8 The Lord was angry at Judah and Jerusalem and made them an appalling object of horror at which people hiss out their scorn, ³⁴  as you can see with your own eyes.

31:4 He ordered ³⁵  the people living in Jerusalem ³⁶  to contribute the portion prescribed for the priests and Levites so they might be obedient ³⁷  to the law of the Lord.

2 Tawarikh 32:22-23

32:22 The Lord delivered Hezekiah and the residents of Jerusalem from the power of King Sennacherib of Assyria and from all the other nations. ³⁸  He made them secure on every side. ³⁹  32:23 Many were bringing presents ⁴⁰  to the Lord in Jerusalem and precious gifts to King Hezekiah of Judah. From that time on he was respected by ⁴¹  all the nations.

2 Tawarikh 32:25-26

32:25 But Hezekiah was ungrateful; he had a proud attitude, provoking God to be angry at him, as well as Judah and Jerusalem. ⁴²  32:26 But then Hezekiah and the residents of Jerusalem humbled themselves and abandoned their pride, and the Lord was not angry with them for the rest of Hezekiah’s reign. ⁴³

33:4 He built altars in the Lord’s temple, about which the Lord had said, “Jerusalem will be my permanent home.” ⁴⁴

34:7 he tore down the altars and Asherah poles, demolished the idols, and smashed all the incense altars throughout the land of Israel. Then he returned to Jerusalem.

Jehoiakim’s Reign

36:5 Jehoiakim was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned for eleven years in Jerusalem. ⁵⁰  He did evil in the sight of ⁵¹  the Lord his God.

Jehoiachin’s Reign

36:9 Jehoiachin was eighteen ⁵²  years old when he became king, and he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem. ⁵³  He did evil in the sight of ⁵⁴  the Lord.

36:19 They burned down the Lord’s temple and tore down the wall of Jerusalem. ⁵⁵  They burned all its fortified buildings and destroyed all its valuable items.
