10:15 The king refused to listen to the people, because God was instigating this turn of events ¹  so that he might bring to pass the prophetic announcement he had made ²  through Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam son of Nebat.

2 Tawarikh 13:7

13:7 Lawless good-for-nothing men ³  gathered around him and conspired ⁴  against Rehoboam son of Solomon, when Rehoboam was an inexperienced young man ⁵  and could not resist them.

2 Tawarikh 23:6

23:6 No one must enter the Lord’s temple except the priests and Levites who are on duty. They may enter because they are ceremonially pure. All the others should carry out their assigned service to the Lord.

25:9 Amaziah asked the prophet: ⁶  “But what should I do about the hundred talents of silver I paid the Israelite troops?” The prophet ⁷  replied, “The Lord is capable of giving you more than that.”

29:6 For our fathers were unfaithful; they did what is evil in the sight of ⁸  the Lord our God and abandoned him! They turned ⁹  away from the Lord’s dwelling place and rejected him. ¹⁰
