14:5 He removed the high places and the incense altars from all the cities of Judah. The kingdom had rest under his rule. ¹ 

2 Tawarikh 34:3

34:3 In the eighth year of his reign, while he was still young, he began to seek the God of his ancestor ²  David. In his twelfth year he began ridding ³  Judah and Jerusalem of the high places, Asherah poles, idols, and images.

16:12 In the thirty-ninth year of his reign, Asa developed a foot disease. ⁴  Though his disease was severe, he did not seek the Lord, but only the doctors. ⁵

17:7 In the third year of his reign he sent his officials Ben-Hail, Obadiah, Zechariah, Nethanel, and Micaiah to teach in the cities of Judah.
