16:6 King Asa ordered all the men of Judah to carry away the stones and wood that Baasha had used to build Ramah. ¹  He used the materials to build up ²  Geba and Mizpah.

8:4 He built up Tadmor in the wilderness and all the storage cities he had built in Hamath.

Jehoshaphat Becomes King

17:1 His son Jehoshaphat replaced him as king and solidified his rule over Israel. ³ 

[16:6]  ¹ tn Heb “and King Asa took all Judah and they carried away the stones of Ramah and its wood which Baasha had built.”

[16:6]  ² tn Heb “and he built with them.”

[17:1]  ³ tn Heb “and strengthened himself over Israel.”
