20:3 Jehoshaphat was afraid, so he decided to seek the Lord’s advice. ¹  He decreed that all Judah should observe a fast.

Ezra 9:4

9:4 Everyone who held the words of the God of Israel in awe ²  gathered around me because of the unfaithful acts of the people of the exile. ³  Devastated, I continued to sit there until the evening offering.

Daniel 9:3

9:3 So I turned my attention ⁴  to the Lord God ⁵  to implore him by prayer and requests, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes. ⁶
