26:16 But once he became powerful, his pride destroyed him. ¹  He disobeyed ²  the Lord his God. He entered the Lord’s temple to offer incense on the incense altar.

27:2 He did what the Lord approved, just as his father Uzziah had done. ³  (He did not, however, have the audacity to enter the temple.) ⁴  Yet the people were still sinning.

28:10 And now you are planning ⁵  to enslave ⁶  the people ⁷  of Judah and Jerusalem. Yet are you not also guilty before the Lord your God?
