29:6 For our fathers were unfaithful; they did what is evil in the sight of ¹  the Lord our God and abandoned him! They turned ²  away from the Lord’s dwelling place and rejected him. ³ 

2 Tawarikh 30:5

30:5 So they sent an edict ⁴  throughout Israel from Beer Sheba to Dan, summoning the people ⁵  to come and observe a Passover for the Lord God of Israel in Jerusalem, for they had not observed it on a nationwide scale as prescribed in the law. ⁶

32:4 A large number of people gathered together and stopped up all the springs and the stream that flowed through the district. ⁷  They reasoned, ⁸  “Why should the kings of Assyria come and find plenty of water?”

2 Tawarikh 36:16

36:16 But they mocked God’s messengers, despised his warnings, ⁹  and ridiculed his prophets. ¹⁰  Finally the Lord got very angry at his people and there was no one who could prevent his judgment. ¹¹
